New Discovery
I recently got diagnosed with autism. I didn't know I had it at first. I now have an official diagnosis. It turns out I don't have bipolar one after all. It explains all of the struggles I dealt with. I have sensory input struggles and other things I deal with. This is why it's so important to get a proper mental health diagnosis. The meds they used to put me on would have so many side effects because I was autistic and didn't know it. I suspected I was in the past, but no one really took me seriously until now. I feel more seen because of it. The other side to this coin is: we really need to fight mental health stigmas for every one of them, not just the ones we think are more or less stigmatized. We have to keep fighting, no matter what anyone thinks. Just because something seems like less or more of a big deal, that doesn't mean you should stop fighting for ALL of our rights.
